Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011

Exetelvoice, I just changed from mobile 1 to mobile A for two phones and got slugged $40 for my trouble is your quote above correct ? My apologies, there is actually a $20 activation charge on the per minute plans. I was thinking about the CAP plans, where there is no such charge. Sorry for the con...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011

EDIT: I note on the change plan page there is a per-minute "Mobile A" for $5 a month...... The Mobile A plan (min $5.00 p/m with $5 included value) is the closest plan to the old Mobile 1 ($0.00 per month). There is no activation fee for existing customers. Plans are constantly re-worked, upgraded ...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011

Has there been any thought into providing those handsets at a monthly rate? Either over 12 months or 24 months?
Yes there has. Only thoughts at this stage.
We need to make sure the handset procurement process and everything asocisated (warranty, repair etc) is reliable.

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011

I'm all for exetel selling phone handsets outright and on contracts, though these days contracts are starting to match outright handset prices + exetel's cheap plans. If exetel does enter into this market, your prices are going to have to be competitive..... We realise all that. Some of those cheap...

Re: Optus per minute plans question

is this explained anywhere? i guess to word as a question, which social networks are included in this free usage? At the bottom of the plan pricing page there are 6 well-known social networking logos: facebook, eBay, twitter, linked-in, foursquare, myspace - these all have unlmited data access http...

Must I agree to the "ADSL Customer Service Guarantee Waiver" and "TERMS AND CONDITIONS" before seeing the details of both plans? Yes Also why do the plan names contain the term "Mobile"? Aren't they PST/Landline plans? Not exactly sure to what you are referring? There are 4 different offers if you ...

Still, neither place mentions or links to information about the cap15/cap35 mobile plans. Regardless, how do you add just a land line and where is information on it? Assume you refer to CAP19 (not cap15 - we have no such mobile plan) Here is information about our mobile CAP plans: http://www.exetel...

Re: Global/International Roaming

This is from someone who know very little the B2B side between the mobile carriers and their resellers. The logical thing for the mobile carriers to have based on their charging structures, should have the following 4 switches for their mobile services: 1. Local voice 2. Local data 3. International...
