Re: RIP Vodafone (Mobile 1 and related plans)

Yes, we were on the fleet plan and these V plans don't match our needs. There are per minute plans on the Exetel via Optus network. These may better suit your needs: Select Per Minute plan tab after clikcing here: http://www.exetel.com.au/residential-mobile-cap-plans.php We are also implementing a ...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011

As a previous post mentioned, the Huawei IDEOS (U8150), IDEOS X5 (U8800), IDEOS X6 (U9000). It doesn't seem these can be supplied presently but we will ask Optus. We should be able to supply most of the other handsets for reasonable prices. Probably less then RRP. We will be putting handset images ...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011

What are the charges for call/SMS/data? This is not stated. These excess rates are as per the website: $0.25 per SMS to all Australian mobile numbers. $0.40 per SMS to International mobile numbers. $0.275 per MB excess data rate. $0.385 flagfall on calls within Australia. $0.40 flagfall on Internat...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011

Looking to make the swap too, but need to know things like: (1) Is it a 12 month contract, or still month-to-month? (2) As mentioned, what are the charge rates? Are they the same as the other Optus business plans? 1) These plans are not contracted. 2) Once the Call and SMS $value are exhausted, the...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011

Has Exetel ever considered offering handsets on their plans? Yes. Firstly, we will be offering handsets on our hardware store at a once-off buy price. This should happen by month-end (May). Secondly, we will be considering offering handsets along with monthly plans. This will be probably a couple o...

Re: How To Improve Mobile Broadband Sales?

As an example... our family of 5 mobile users could ideally be combined on a single CAP75 plan. ......
Unfortunately the constraints of our wholesale plans preclude this.

Re: Mobile 1 plan change

I was going to ask this and I think I have an answer but would like to double check. With the Optus per minute plans (and indeed the non-zero Vodafone ones) and the minimum monthly spend, if one spends for example $4.50 in calls/sms etc then the charge is $5.00 (for Mobile A). In other words it's n...

Re: TCV20-200 plan not available for existing users

My question is: will there be any downtime (as in days), or just a few hours when the changeover happens after applying. There won't be any downtime Am currently on a 6 month contract - had to be as had to change plans a few months back or face extra $10 month charge. Will there be any penalty - or...

Re: Optus per minute plans question

Hopefully this will help. While we admit the exetel Mobile 1 plan (via the Vodafone network) has been very good value, the situation with our new supplier is that we are constrained by their wholesale plans. Exetel are just not in a commercially viable position to maintain a $0.00 monthly spend plan...

Re: Optus per minute plans question

currently my vodafone service includes a minimum spend, but that also gives me that minimum spend worth of calls, data etc. Yes the minimum spend includes standard calls and SMS up to the value of the monthly minimum. Data is not included. It would also be useful to know how the data is charged. Da...

Re: Additional $5.00 ADSL Discount

I am currently still within my 12 month contract on a no longer offered plan. If I take up the offer am I to recontract my current ADSL service plan or would I need to move onto one of the new plans.
You can recontract on your existing plan.

Re: APN for Exetel mobile services using the Optus network

Whilst we understand your frustration, Exetel is unable to do anything about Optus coverage issues apart from putting pressure on them to fix it.

This is not the right forum for that particular complaint.

Re: high call costs on new mobile plan

Hopefully that means a viable replacement for homeline budget, and I can get rid of my last direct telstra bill.
Yes the plans will be very competitive, with mobile bundle options.
