This issue has been resolved so you need not do any temporary changes. Are you still facing this issue? If so can you please show the error or bounce back you are getting? Please screen the email address and leave only the domain for privacy.

Re: Speed has halved in the last few days.

I do not have another modem to try, but this one is basically new. I have a ticket opened for you (ref# 9635481) Will drop you an email on your nominated email address with how we can proceed further. It would be good if you can check with a different borrowed modem which is known to be working to ...

Re: Speed has halved in the last few days.

My internet speed has halved since about 2 days ago and is solid at half my normal speed. I called Exetel and they reset the line but that had no effect. My internet speed is approximately: 6138/509kbps This is usually pretty much exactly double for both up and down. Operation data Upstream Downstr...

Re: Netcomm NB6Plus4Wn trouble

So a problem arose this morning after many years of use. Woke up to find I'd lost my internet connection. Checked my modem and all the right status lights were on. Tried to connect to the modem with a web browser and it failed. Tried to ping my modem from my desktop pc and it gave me an unreachable...

If it does... please change it again to smtp.<state>.exemail.com.au and it should be working now.

I can make calls out but can't hear the other person on the other end.
Are you using this to make calls over the mobile network or while on wifi?

Re: Unable to send emails via SMTP server

As a test would you be able to change the smtp server back to smtp.<state>.exemail.com.au and check if the issue persists?

If it does, please paste the bounce back message you receive. It should be working now.

Re: NetComm N600 No NBN Connection

Well then, is Exetel stupid for sending me an email from support@exetel.com.au that can not accept replies? Plus I'm still waiting for a reply with answers. Do you have a ticket number or a topic of the email so I can check on this further? All e-mails we send are from residentialsupport@exetel.com...

Re: Email bouncebacks from Hotmail

Maybe this is why an email reply sent to support@exetel.com.au failed to deliver and their response to me in the Modem thread was I should have sent it to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au even though that email address was not used in their support email. It's a mess. As the previous comments expla...

Re: NetComm N600 No NBN Connection

Good, thank you. Add to the escalation the following: I got 5 different emails, yes... 5 DIFFERENT emails, sent to me covering how to set up VOIP from support@exetel.com.au . When I sent a reply last night asking for the instructions to be consolidated into one set of procedures as well as asking w...

Re: Email bouncebacks from Hotmail

I am also getting a similar error (just a different IP address) for all emails to Hotmail.com or Outlook.com email addresses. The message I get is: Unfortunately, messages from 220.233.0.8 weren't sent. We recommend that you contact your Internet service provider. The problem is that too many unwan...
