Apparently my port was reset. Made no difference. Just modem connected to line as 1st point with nothing else on the line. Still slow down. Multiple resets. It's here. I hid my email address for obvious reasons. Many thanks. smtp.nsw.exemail.com.au is not a server that supports authentication so it should not be required. Thanks for the reply, I have erred, the pop3 and smtp server names do have "exemail" in them as you said, my apologies.
