Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times
Personally I want to keep the off peak till 2pm so I can get some advantage out of the off peak. As it is I cane some times get 7 hours of off peak if I am lucky per day but mostly I can get 4 to 5 hours max. With the extension to 2 pm I get an additional 2 hours. As stated before I can not have th...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times
So as a paying member I am not allowed to complain about services being taken from me. You really aren't synched with reality are you? Personally it wouldn't worry me if the off peak was 5am to 2pm but that wouldn't suit everyone would it? So if what exetel are offering you now suits your needs woul...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times
Just recently you allowed people to pick their off peak period and I opted for the 2am to 2pm. Im not even through the first month of this and you go and change it. The time I picked suited me perfectly as that extra 2 hours in the afternoon was great for my life style. Now you are effectively takin...

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period
Honestly after reading some of these posts you would think they were getting their throats cut!
Personally it would be better for me to have that extra 2 hours in the afternoon yet it doesnt worry me if it stays as it is.
God help you if lost 2 hours!

Re: ADSL2 in Cessnock
Exetel doesn't have any ADSL2+ equipment at all in any exchanges. From the supplier view - there's more possible services in Metro than Regional, so the ROI is there. One supplier had initiative to create OPEL, which was intended to supply faster services to regional australia from the marketing / ...

Re: ADSL2 in Cessnock
I never said I dont appreciate Exetel as they, so far, have provided an excellent service. Im just peeved that I cannot get an Exetel ADSL2 service through my exchange. Seems like the country is left to the last. i reckon by the time we get it it will be old technology ad there will be a faster meth...

ADSL2 in Cessnock
I cruised into ADSL Exchanges and looked to see if Cessnock exchange was listed as adsl2 capable. In one section is says adsl2 is not available yet the legend say that telstra wholesale is active and at TW Speeds. I was talking to the mate about broadband and he said he is on adsl2 and he lives in C...

Plan No Longer Exists
I was just checking the plans to see if any plans had changed and I see that the plan I was on has dropped in price but I'm still paying the old price. I thought well $5.00 per month less is $5.00 in my pocket but looking closer I see my download limit has increased by an extra 8Gb per month! Hey I'...

Re: Trouble Connecting To New Server
The problem has been solved. Apparently the missing brain cells returned and I finally got the right password and other critical elements in the correct place. Thank you Andrew for your help.

Re: New home.exetel.com.au server now available for use
So let me get this right. If I do nothing now come the cut off date all the stuff I have now on the server will be erased. After that date I can reload any web site I have to the new server and not change any settings in my FTP that exist now. Other wise I have to change FTP settings now then change...

Re: ADSL2 and Telstra
My Postie told me to switch to Telstra. 25Gb per month downloads for $100 and a 2 year contract? Not likely.
I dont know the exact details of the plan and if there is free uploads etc but its not my cup of tea.
