Re: Exetel Mobile Broadband and incoming calls/sms

Hi Michael, So when you say blocked can you confirm that means incoming calls/sms as well? - Yes, with the mobile broadband service all incoming calls and SMS are blocked. James posted that MOIP is still available for iphone? viewtopic.php?f=303&t=13184&start=540#p307506 - Let me check on this and g...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans

I'm wondering if I'm in the right place  - as a long term, existing and loyal customer, I'm currently on a Plan Type: T20-1 ( with Telephone); Monthly Access Charge: $42.50; Network Provider: Telstra Wholesale; Download Limit (Mbyte): 75GB; Excess Download: Speed Shaping to 1024/384 kbps; Ser...

Re: New Plans!

Hi Brad, Please be advised that the new plans have not been updated in the member facility currently, the plan change options available currently are the same plans as previously available to you. You mean that whole rant was all for nothing! I assumed they were the new plans, as there is no...

Re: New Plans!

What the hell is going on?!?!?! After months of being told Exetel couldn't simply give access to the new plans available on the website, in some massive coincidence, the plans happen to become available just after a new billing cycle starts, to lock us in for one more month. The worst part is, the ...

Re: Hardware availability

There used to be, in the hardware store, options to purchase a wireless broadband modem and antenna; these are no longer listed. Is it likely in the near future that these will become available - I am shortly moving to a rural area where no ADSL is available and mobile phone coverage is a bit avera...

Re: New Plans!

Finally, a snippet of useful information to help our understanding of why this is taking so long. I'm still confused which supplier you are referring to... you have so many wholesale suppliers. That doesn't matter though... In my case, I'm only concerned with Telstra (probably Telstra Wholesale) co...

Re: New Plans!

Unfortunately, I struggle to genuinely believe this. I've been watching these "new plans" for over 2 months now, and its been nearly a month since my last comment on this topic. I don't understand how it can take so long to update the Member's Facilities to make the same services available to exist...

It has been as few weeks since your communication that things will be changing?

Thanks
Hi,

We are currently negotiating with our suppliers and therefore will be unable to give you an ETA at the moment.

Re: Just to Clearify

The FAQ says Do I need a PSTN service initially to have your fibre services? Yes, you must have an active telephone service in order for us to qualify your address if you wish to get the Telstra Fibre service. For OptiComm refer to: http://exetel.com.au/residential-fibre-opticomm-sq.php as a phone ...

Re: Just to Clearify

I see that you refer to the NBN Fibre as 'Telstra Fibre service'? I thought Telstra only reluctantly got involved? Is it because its 'Telstra Fibre service' that prices are higher than ADSL2+ ? A few months back when fibre first hit the streets prices looked really good, but now, profiteering seems...
