Re: Confused about FTTN speeds.

I signed up with you last night hoping to get the 100/40 plan for FTTN but I was told the max speed is 25/5 Mbps. I rang NBN today because they informed me recently that FTTN can reach speeds close to 100/40 & they don't understand why Exetel has told me the max speed is much lower. I would prefer ...

Re: FTTN VDSL Modem recommendations?

If you can supply the NF8AC is it also possible to supply the VOIP equivalent modem - NF17ACV? Unfortunately the modem (NF10WV) you supply on your NBN plans uses old wifi technology not the newer AC protocol. Hi Unfortunately, this has not been registered with NBN VDSL as yet, therefore we are unab...

Change Plan error... When I go to: Services & Usage | Manage (Broadband Services) | Change Plan, the response is: "! Something went wrong. Please contact Exetel or try again." Hi We are currently getting this sorted with the development team. Apologize for the inconvenience caused. Kindly PM your s...

Re: User Facilities VoIP Config Screen

Could you also please check with the relevant department whether or not I still have to pay a new $300.00 bond, (as per the Service Agreement)? Please, could you also advise the relevant department that I am one of Exetel's oldest continuous customers, since April, 2004, and I have never had any pr...

Re: User Facilities VoIP Config Screen

Question #2: When ordering a new VoIP number, there appears to be no option to have the number unlisted, (i.e, "Silent" or "Private"). I seem to remember, in the dim, distant past, when I first applied to port my unlisted Telstra-supplied home phone number to Exetel VoIP, that there was an option t...

Re: Data sharing/pooling across multiple SIMs?

Optus, Telstra and Vodafone are all advertising family/business data sharing mobile plans.... As in, you sign up for 2x1GB plans, and the 2GB total is available to be spread across the 2 devices as needed (rather than being capped to 1GB on each, you might go 1.5GB on one and 500mb on the other). I...

Re: Optus cable, then to NBN?

Hi, I have searched the forum, with no success; I am currently with Exetel ADSL2, if I order a cable connection from Optus (leaving my ADSL connected & untouched), will that enable Exetel to take over that connection for my NBN when it arrives? My local exchange is; Port Melbourne – 175-183 Clark S...

Re: Fibre to the building

Have just been informed that NBN is available in the complex that I currently live in. I am an existing Exetel ADSL2+ customer. Does the cost of a 100MBPS unlimited connection include the cost of the telephone line? I am on one of the ADSL 2 bundles which includes a telephone line. The 100/40 unlim...

Re: New mobile plan without a new sim card

Hi, I am with exetel almost over 7 years and very happy about your services. This morning, I change my mobile plan because I got a new mobile phone and need more data. It is supposed, as all other mobile service providers follow, a new sim card will be delivered with the new mobile plan. However, I...

Thanks.
Yes, Exetel does not have any restrictions provided it's a residential service. You may also check with the provider you wish to port to, whether they have any restrictions.
