Moving House - Keeping ADLS2

Hi, Does anybody know the chance of me keeping my optus adsl2 port when moving? I am only moving next door, but because the relocation is treated as a disconnection and my local exchange has no spare ports could my port be lost forever... Just wondering what the chances are (took me years to snag on...

Re: New Plan Change cost for no contract

Thanks Corey,

Unfortunately the sales desk has advised they will NOT reimburse the cost I paid one month ago.
You must agree to a 12 month contract period on a new new plan.

New Plan Change cost for no contract

Hi, I just paid Exetel to change my plan in Dec 2010 'OTAA' - Since my house is up for sale I had to choose a 'no contract period'. Exetel have now cancelled that new plan offered for Dec 2010 in Jan 2011 - one month later. Can you please tell me what Extel would charge me again to change to the equ...

Re: When will the OTL-A Plan Prices be available for Members

Thanks - Becuase the move could be 3 months or more depending on a sale I am happy to change plans once for the better limits.

I just want to know when the eqivalent plans available for new customers would be available to existing customers?

When will the OTL-A Plan Prices be available for Members?

New Users get the plan OTL-A for $43 per month while existing members have OTAA for $53 ($10 more for being a member?). I have to move soon so I need to have a no contract period which is an option of OTAA. So I just want to know when/if the OTL-A plan would be available to change to in the members ...

Re: Usage Meter Issue - Usage Over-Reported

Same here.
I have reported a fault.
I believe both the 21st and 22nd peak and non-peak usage has been 'swapped'. ie recorded in the opposite column.

Exetel Plan Decomissioned

I have received an email from exetel informing me my current plan is gone and I am to be charged an addition $5 a month. I understand this, but the letter does not identify the new plan Id or if the download/upload/excess chargers are to change. Am I to guess and match the new price with a plan that...

Modem Sync UP/Down Speed 3 times less

Normally my Modem shows sync Down speed of around 4200 which translates to the exetel speed test of 3-4mb. As of Monday the modem is now showing a down speed of 1400 and exetel speed test is never getting above 1.5 mb. (I have reboot modem and it sycs at this same lower rate every time). I am on ADS...

Re: NB64W resets if you try connect wireless device

Ok - found it - don't you love the internet....sometimes.
Searched for 'netcomm reset mac wep' and found a reference to the security type 'WEP/WEP2' crashing modem firmware for macs.
(Don't know why my old modem is fine...)

Change security method to WPA PSK and ...no crashes!

Re: NB64W resets if you try connect wireless device

Thanks - any suggestion is appreciated. Changing channels didn't help. Turning security off allowed the touch to connect and use the internet without causing the modem to crash. Further testing has proved this issue with the NB6Plus4w (firmware 3.64y) and Apple hardware if you use wireless with WEP ...

Re: NB64W resets if you try connect wireless device

I have played with the security settings and have got wireless working with PC/Mac computers - changing the wep setting to 64 and back to 128 fix XP? So I am only faced with the original issue. For the same Ipod touche, if I attempt to connect to the new modem the modem will reset its self (power li...

Re: NB64W resets if you try connect wireless device

Yes - I was just abbreviating the name - its a NB6Plus4W. The wireless power issue occurs with apple products (ipod touches) and the wireless failing to connect to the internet occurs for both XP and Mac computers. The settings are the same but as the new modem (not working) is 2 weeks old its on a ...

NB64W resets if you try connect wireless device

I just purchased a backup NB64W thru exetel and while ethernet connects fine, if I attempt to connect using a handheld wireless device the modem power light goes red and the modem self resets. I then have to unplug the modem and reset again to gain ethernet access back on the modem. My original mode...
