Re: Ticket # 8882629

Nope

I can only claim $50 of my internet service

But an unlimited amount on mobile and since the home line was combined it was okay, a gray area but okay

Now being separate its not possible

Re: Does this indicate my speed has been reduced ?

Its all about the chipset
Some are better at longer distance

Post the ADSL stats from both modems
May shed some light on why

Re: Ticket # 8882629

Let us know how this goes

I had to go to a Exetel Phone plan just to get my service Quota just upgraded

Since the home phone is now not part of the combined mobile and home bill I cant claim the bill through work and so am down $20 a months thanks to this crazy policy

You modem says otherwise

Line Attenuation Down 44.4 dB

Says you are ~3400m cable distance

Re: NSW Wollongong - PPPoE dropping semi regular this last w

Yep

I am just suprised this is what the troubleshooting led to

I'm hoping there is some backhaul relief or something else causing my dropouts

Looks like you have already had a stability profile enabled

Telstra says no know issues for that postcode

Have you tried an isolation test?

Re: Speed dropped after plan change

That downsteam SNR is very bad
Anything less then 6 is going to be troublesome

Can you adjust the DSL training in your modem?

If not get a stability profile set and see how that goes

Try another modem maybe

DSL sync loss is either line quality or modem

Re: NSW Wollongong - PPPoE dropping semi regular this last w

I raised a ticket and a fault obviously got logged to Telstra.

And so today at 4pm Telstra apply a Stability profile to my ADSL service that had 22 days DSL sync

I get dropouts only during peak perioids and there fix is to drop my service that had been in sync for over 22 days

ZZZZZZzzzzzz......
