VOIP Issues since change of line speed
Hi, My parents have recently been experiencing problems with outgoing VOIP Calls not failing to connect and/or the VOIP connection failing to register with the server. They have been using the same router a Dynalink RTA1046VW for a number of year without issues. The only thing that has changed is th...

Re: Off Peak Periods
I'd rather halve the available quota and return to a 12-12 peak / offpeak split. Ie, 12 hours peak, 12 off. Exetel could seek to distinguish themselves by establishing a (relatively) low quota, but long duration, off-peak period. In line with the above comments I would like to suggest your consider...

Upgrade Question
Hi, I'm currently connected the Kariong Exchange and I'm considering upgrading from a 1500/256 ADSL 1 service to a 8192/384 ADSL 1 service. My Netcomm NB9W modem lists Attainable Rate for my line as 9824/1060 so I'm wondering how likely it is that I'll actually get sync speeds approaching 8192/384. ...

Re: Same Speed Plan Change Fee in Members Area
Hi, I've also noticed this. When were the Plan Change Fees increased by $90 if you were changing ADSL1 plans? The old fees were $0 and $25 when changing ADSL1 plans, but the new fess are $90 and $115. Was this fee introduced to discourage users on the older ADSL plans to the current ADSL plans? Les

Forum Admin, It will be a few words and a number on the user facilities beneath your current month usage summary. Can you also please consider having this value added to the data returned when calling the usagemeter.php page so that it can be used by Third Party Usage Meters. https://www.exetel.com....

Re: Change to AUP - Section (d)
I originally posted this in the first thread that was opened on this tiopic, but as this thread seems to be the more active I thought I should also post here. Hi, I didn't realise I had been moved to an plan with an uncounted period until I received the "Modification Of Acceptable Use Policy" notifi...

Re: Modification Of Acceptable Use Policy
Hi, I didn't realise I had been moved to an plan with an uncounted period until I received the "Modification Of Acceptable Use Policy" notification earlier today. As someone who has never downloaded more than 15Gb in the off-peak period and who usually downloads less than 5Gb in the off-peak period ...

Re: Voip Call Masking
I was one of the lucky people who managed to set this up on my exising VOIP services whilst it was available. Unfortunately I've added a number of additional VOIP services since that time for which I've been unable to setup this feature which I consider crucial. Whilst I understand Exetels need to p...

Re: Development Proposal for New Exetel Desktop SMS
Hi, When I download exeSMS.zip from the provided link for the windows version (http://www.exetel.com.au/files/eXeSMS.zip) the resultant zip file is only 180KB and only contains Mobile.jar, when I believe it should contain a Windows installer. Over the past week I've now tried to download from 2 diff...

Re: Slightly Revised HSPA Plans
As July 1st approaches we are continuing to work on simplifying the number and presentation of all of our plans. By COB Sunday we will reduce the number of HSPA plans to five: When will these revised plans be available to order? I had interpreted "COB Sunday" to be Sunday June 7th, but as it's now ...

Re: Pensioner Broadband Plans?
My parents are Pesioners and are just about to get an Internet connection for the first time. They are connected to an Optus ADSL 2 enabled exchange but are unable to get ADSL2 as they are on a RIM/CMUX. For them the ability to use VOIP so they can reduce their Telephone Bill is the cost justificati...

It should work with any version os Windows with Background Intelligent Transfer Service 2.0 or later.
That means it should work with Windows Xp Sp2 or later, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.0.
