Re: move from TPG to Exetel
1. As far as I know, TPG requires at least 30 days notice to cancel the service. For example, if I make the cancellation application on 09/03/2010, the earliest cancellation date will be 10/04/2010. What is the best date to place the churn order to Exetel so that I do not need to pay two monthly cha...

Re: Usage meter for HSPA
I myself have made a script which scrapes it off the user facilities and then creates an rss feed with the data. Is it something you are willing to share? Z It was a quick mock up, but never got around to doing anything else. Its simply a bash script for linux and then compiles the data into an rss...

Records with Telstra for the phone service can take upto 48 hours or more to update to reflect an active status for a phone service.
I suggest trying again at a later time to run the SQ.

Re: Cancel Shaping
I'm currently on the INC2DSLB plan but have changed it to the NF/22IncTel plan effective (I hope) tomorrow. Does this mean that I'm no longer affected by shaping (i.e $0.50 per gig over)? Can you please provide me with your service number (eg phone number) via private message and i will confirm thi...

Re: Settings for Billion 7401VGP R3
With Billion modems, i have noticed some options are better than others, especially in regards to enforcing modulation type, etc.
Thanks for the info though, as this could help other customers with the same device.

Re: Wierd Model Drop Out Problem - Same Time Every Day
I would suggest checking cables and confirm (if you live with others) that no changes are being made on cables at all.
Also check for things such as faxes or dial up modems that may cause problems.

Re: Slow and haphazard ADSL2+ today!
I suggest you first try performing an isolation test by removing all devices from the phone line (phones, filters, extensions) and just have the modem connected directly to the main socket with a short length (approx 2m) cable.

Jokiin is correct, as it is currently not the start of next month, the order will remain as is until then.
The change is completed at the start of next month.

On most newer Nokia phones you are able to both delete existing access points and also change the priority, i suggest you delete all of the optus related access points and make sure the exetel access point has top priority.

Re: E1762 usb modem aerial
In regards to getting a suitable antenna, you need to look for dual band antenna's, this being they support both 900Mhz and 2100Mhz UMTS/HSDPA frequencies. 2100Mhz is the most commonly used frequency in large cities and even a lot of rural areas, but once you hit more regional and outback type areas...

Re: Returned mail - Barracuda Reputation Block List
Hi,
It would appear you used webmail to send the email? (as that is the email server that is blocked)
I have placed a request to Barracude to remove the IP from the blacklist.
I will have to wait for a reply from them.
I will inform once i receive an update from them.
