Re: New ADSL2 Plan - Free
The plans will not be available everywhere - only where Optus has ADSL2 DSLAMs and free ports on those DSLAMs. Sounds perfect for a low/moderate user of which I think there is a large customer base. Is this offer open to existing or new customers only? Also does it come with one DID and Web/Blog op...

Re: Call Forwarding - not working
I have tried using the 0112x on "a" line with x being "b" line, when I phone "a" all I get is a engaged tone - it still does not work. Brettwinter, my understanding is that call forwarding only works if your a or b line are either engaged on a call or not SIP registered in your Xlite or other ATA. ...

Re: NB6 Failure
On to a different fault, my NB6 Plus4W has been slowly refusing connections on the four cat5 inputs one by one I have experienced the same issue with the NB6+4W, and I am unable to find the cause. I have checked the pcb and found no dry joints or fried connections. It is strange that one by one the...

Re: Exetel In A Small Business - Feedback
While we are only a small business with low usage, the service provided (especially in regards to VOIP - Chris S and Pasan M are standouts, and should have statues erected in their honor) has been second to none. To give you some idea, my mobile bill has gone from $99/month with Telstra (with most ...

Re: VOIP Caller ID's
Hi you need to request this from our voice manager with proper billing proof showing that number you need to overwrite with VOIP number is belong to you. When voice manager approved you can override your voip number with a different number. Does this apply to business only, or does it extend to res...

Re: Testing Required for the New Members
In the Services bar every service type has tabs linking 'change plan' and so on, except ADSL.
To change ADSL service the only link is via the Usage bar.
When you go from Usage to Wireless Broadband the page style is old version.
Otherwise I like it.

Change to VOIP call forward system
I have been having problems with call forwarding where the number would not stick. I lodged a fault report and received the following advice: Please use the following code via your VOIP service in order to activate call forwarding from the server. Dial 0110 - Disable call forwarding Dial 0111X - Ena...

Re: Exetel VOIP - ALWAYS HAS PROBLEMS RECEIVING CALLS
The voip have always had problems receiving calls - Seems like theres a problem with holding on the registration. d5.lam It would help to know what hardware you are running. I am running two DID's without any issue using Netcomm hardware. There was an issue a week ago, but that seems to be resolved...

Re: Forum restructure
Corey thanks for all your work in shaping a rapidly growing tree. Areas that I feel might be discussed include: I see a lot of people who post for help and give no indication of physical location, service type/s and hardware. If there was some way of displaying basic Exetel side stats that do not im...

Re: PASSWORDED FORUM
Question I have is; if we all have a fixed / static IP why is it necessary to 'log on' surely there is a way of identifying a 'friendly' range of addresses and only use log on for remote use?
