Re: 8192/384 Plan Parameters

I'm currently on ADSL1 8192/386, behind a RIM, and get very close to full speed most if not all of the time. My modem attenuation is 28.0 downstream, which suggests that in theory I could get up to double that speed from ADSL2 (also requiring that Telstra enable ADSL2 on my RIM). So for me assuming ...

Problem with Belkin F5D8635-4v1 and iPhone

I have a Belkin F5D8635-4v1 modem/wireless router (with the latest firmware, 1.00.17, and an iPhone 3G with the latest software V4. Whilst I have no problems with various computers scattered around the house connecting to the router, the iPhone keeps losing it's WAN connection and reverting back to ...

I've done that, but it seems to me unusual that it was missed.

Spam filter...

I use the Exetel spam filter on my account, and by and large it works very well. But this evening I got a message with the header "Pharmacy_Online_Adderal..etc !!" which I would have thought would have been a dead certainty to be blocked, but obviously wasn't. I'm wondering whether other users have ...

That's what I suspected, thanks to you and Dazz.

Is there an iPhone app (vphone?) that can receive calls as well as send them?

VoIP and the iPhone

I have recently obtained a DID with Exetel, and have set up this number on my computer using X-Lite, set up the port forwarding for ports 5060-5070 accordingly, and can make calls out quite happily with very good quality. I have also set up Fring on my iPhone and can likewise dial out quite happily,...

FA will be able to confirm that the biggest !@#$fights on Whirlpool have in fact resulted in substantial gains in new users for Exetel - as exampled here http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.ph ... 30#p227645

Re: Possible Further Changes To Off Peak Period

So AFAIK the usage is correctly counting 2-2 but because this message hasn't been updated, everyone is getting confused. Not from what I saw. I think the 50MB download I performed appeared both in my 12th and 13th June peak period - i.e. it was counted twice . This, as I have said, assumes that the...

Re: Possible Further Changes To Off Peak Period

The issue with Off-peak / Peak data in member's facilities has not been solved. I monitored the current month's usage (https://www.exetel.com.au/members/home_details.php) last night to see what happened over the period after midnight. Please note I have selected the 2am/2pm option. After 12.00am the...

Re: Possible Further Changes To Off Peak Period

There are still issues, I think. This should be corrected now. Not so. Usage Meter Server Time is 2009-06-08 01:04:03 PM. Downloads are currently being metered as peak usage. Also, I logged a helpdesk ticket three days ago, which does not appear to have been looked at yet. Ticket Status Updated Off...

Re: Possible Further Changes To Off Peak Period

So everyone that logged into member facilities last month and changed to 2am>>2pm are still on midnight>>midday till July 1? I've asked the sysadmin responsible to reply. There are still issues, I think. My current month's usage shows my offpeak/peak period as 2-2 (allowing for the heading error th...

Re: Possible Further Changes To Off Peak Period

When the user-selectable Off-peak period was implemented I chose 2a-2p. My understanding was that any change would take place on the first of the following month. Is there any way to ascertain whether this change has been implemented? As of 12:10pm my account details page says "Downloads are curren...

Re: The Exetel 5-year club

I'm coming up to 5 years in the middle of May, my first invoice was 0000008045. That was 256/64 and 6 Gig. Now 8192/384 and 36gig.

Tempus fugit, does it not?
