Re: Moving House - Want to stay with Exetel

If I create a new user account and require the same emails, then I am sure to get a message saying 'that email name is already in use'. So there must be a way of getting around it. Will wait to see if tech support get back to me.

Re: Moving House - Want to stay with Exetel

Yeah - I will call Testra in the morning. Just was hoping to get it done tonight but seems that it is not possible. Their lines are closed now. Also I am currently on a ADSL2 plan but I know that it is not available in Springwood. Yet the form asks me to choose my new ADSL2 plan but has no ADSL opti...

Re: Moving House - Want to stay with Exetel

HI - I have a Telstra account & new phone number but have not received a bill yet. The Change of Location form in the members facilities asks me for my current account number. So I can't actually complete the form. Does this mean I can't change my location until I actually receive a bill from Telstr...

Re: Moving House - Want to stay with Exetel

Hi,
Called Telstra and they are setting up a landline. Got a new number.

So I guess I wait until it is connected then switch over to Exetel. Looks like I just do it online.

Re: Moving House - Want to stay with Exetel

So I have to get a new account with Telstra, then I can get Exetel back on?
Will have to choose Telstra as my provider or can I just get the phone line connected with set up a phone deal with them?

Moving House - Want to stay with Exetel

OK - So I am moving house next week and I want to keep my exetel.
We have our landline, Mobiles and ADSL2 with exetel.
Is there an easy way to change to our new address. Do I need to know the new phone number?

Thanks

Re: URL asks for router password

None of which explains his sub-one millisecond pings. :?: These could be caused if the Gigabyte GN-BR01G behaves like the Multitech 550VPN in ymo's post, and has firmware that interprets x.x.x.0 and x.x.x.255 inappropriately, and automatically loops back to the router itself. Meaning a firmware upd...

Re: URL asks for router password

And so we're back to the beginning: soundring.com.au, somehow, has a x.x.x.0 IP address, which can't be PINGed, but does resolve when you plug it into a browser (at least, for everyone else except for cardiganstreet. I would guess that either Safari/OSX or your modem is taking that x.x.x.0 IP addre...
