Re: phone/internet contract ending soon
My 12-month phone/internet contract will end soon (plan OF-100) and I'm wondering what happens when the 12 months runs out. Can I just continue on the existing plan on a month-to-month basis? Or will I need to select another contract (either same plan or new plan)? Once the contract is over you wil...

Re: How to relocate my ADSL2+
Hi guys, I am now in Brisbane and have found a place in Taringa 4068. My friend who's been living in Taringa for 3 years told me their optus ADSL is quite slow and unstable. I googled it and found other people complaining about slow connection at night due to not enough capacity at Taringa exchange...

Re: ADSL only -> ADSL + Telephone
I have multiple phone lines at work, two of which are connected in rotary: one of those lines in rotary is connected to Exetel for ADSL only (it's a historical thing since the days of applecomm). As my contract with the existing phone service supplier has expired, I wish to move my ADSL to one of m...

Re: New 12 months contract when changing plan
Yes. We do get charged by the supplier for each plan change. Thus, we are unable to waive off this fee.Spectator wrote: I know you said that the new contract is required by supplier, but is the $20 fee?

It might be around 6-8 months before I can relocate/set up my service again. I dont want to be hit wit...

Re: Existing customers charged $10 more for new plans??
Hi there, Ive refered a quite few friends to Exetel over the last six months due to the great plans on offer. All have been very happy with their decision. I thought it was about time I upgraded as I have been on the same plan for 2 years and there is much better value out there. I called the sales...

Re: Telstra ADSL2
So would I be wrong to asume that the fact that I see only AAPT ADSL2 in my user fascility, that it also means Telstra? Thanks Currently, we are having a promotion for upgrades from Telstra to AAPT. This is the reason why the Telstra ADSL2 plans are not available in the members area. We will be upd...

Re: Wrong mobile plan ordered
I'm assisting a mate to setup a new mobile account with Exetel, we've got the SIM and just went to activate the service, and noticed he's selected the wrong plan. Is it possible to change plans from a M29 to a U39? We haven't yet activated the service. IanS Kindly send the SIM card back without act...

Re: OCV200 change plan to OPFx plans looks incorrect
These two screenshots show that the costs seem different for OPFx plans compared to the OPx plans for new customers. http://prntscr.com/a38i4 http://prntscr.com/a38sy Line rental sasys $10, is free/included for new customers. 9000 minute package says it is included in the plan via the #hash footnot...

Re: Process to Transfer from ADSL to Fibre in South Brisbane
Hi all, I tried to transfer to fibre about 2 months ago when a Telstra Contractor was in our apartment building installing fibre to the home. I was intending to move to another suburb in June so I did not proceed to connect at that time. I now intend to stay where I am and need to transfer to fibre...

Re: process for porting to exetel
Not a problem but a presales query, wasn't sure where to put it. Can someone confirm, if I'm porting my mobile from 3 to Exetel, I leave my 3 account active so I get calls until Exetel sim arrives, then I log in and port my number, then when that is complete I cancel my 3 service right? How do you ...

Re: New telstra plans
As a side note why bother offering ADSL1 plans with Telstra. Now that the price is the same as ADSL2 and the contract length is the same whats the point of adsl1? In the past there was a difference in price and also contract length. Wouldn't it be simpler to now just remove adsl1 plans? Do telstra ...

Re: New 12 months contract when changing plan
If I elect to change plan, even to a higher priced one, it currently says it will be a new 12 months contract plus it will cost $20 to change plan. However on confirming the plan change one of the fine print items contradicts this: "I understand that a speed change or an allowance upgrade/downgrade...
