Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period

I'm in favour of the change if it is better for Exetel.

In addition I'd like to suggest to put the Top 10 Leechers every month into a special pool with No "Off Peak" time the next month.

ducking for cover now

Re: Possible New Concept ADSL Plans

I plotted my usage since January 2007 and compared my spent based on different INCPHONE plans from the same period. I have a highly fluctuating usage pattern from very low usage (Off Peak 1GB, Peak 2GB), to going over my included plan allowance (Off Peak 56GB, Peak 36GB). The only times the old styl...

Re: Telephone Conference Room From Exetel

I second Howards suggestion, if there were international DID's and national DID's in every major city I would be willing to pay for this feature. Internationally I would be looking at DID's in: USA, UK, all major mainland European countries (NL, DE, F, BE, AT, S, P, IT, etc.) If creating extra DIDs ...

Re: HSPA VoIP Performance

I've been making several 30 to 60 minute long Skype calls to both national and international Skype users and find the quality very reasonable, about 80% of the quality of doing a similar call over ADSL1/2.

Fax remains in PENDING Status

I sent a email-to-fax with a PDF attachment a couple of days, the status has been Pending ever since. As this fax was sent to a 1800 number I guessed that 1800 numbers aren't supported, however after resending the same fax to a 028xxxxxxx number the second fax also remains in a Pending status. Could...

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year

We have slightly increased the download allowances on all ADSL2 plans (inctelephone and naked) from 1st June. Didn't the INCPHONE C download allowance increase? My member page shows 32GB, which is the same as it was in May. My post got burried in between the above discussion. Would someone be able ...

A good reason to start using VOIP with a DID. This way you will never have to change your phone number again.

Re: 12 midnight To 12 Noon Usage

You seem to be happy about the decline in usage. What would be the impact on Exetel if the usage didn't decline, but people would pay the $3/GB? Wouldn't that be better for your bottom line?

Re: Inviting Friends to Join Exetel!

I reckon it would be a lot easier to convince people to give up their wireline telephone service if it would be possible to convert their alarm system to accept a SIM card (for a reasonable price).

Re: Garbled VOIP on Billion 7404VGOM, ADSL1

I have been experiencing a similar issue on my 7404VGPM, apparently this is a bug with the G.729 codec and the current firmware. Changing to G.711A/U codecs only solves the issue (I changed it yesterday and haven't noticed it since).

In the 7404VGPM you can find it here:

Configuration -> Advanced -> Device Management

Embedded Web Server

HTTP Port

Then set Configuration -> Remote Access -> Allow Access for
