Voicemail to Email
In the member facilities I configured my VOIP Voicemail to be forwarded to my email address. Since then I have left 3 voicemails, none of these have arrived in my email.
Is there anyone who has this working?

Re: using VOIP outside of home
scenario 2: If I am able to access the internet wirelessly. What type of equipment would I require to connect to the VOIP? A softphone will be your only option in this case. There is another option... I use my Nokia E65 (which has 802.11G capability) to connect to VOIP and Skype wirelessly at home ...

If you are being charged $5 anyway, I'd suggest you play around with the different codecs to see which one gives best call quality. When I configured my ATA the first time the quality wasn't good at all either, however after doing a bit of research and changing the settings the call quality has impr...

Change from Exetel ADSL1 to ADSL2 - my experience
I read a lot of negative posts about Exetel ADSL2 connection issues, so I thought I post my personal experience after moving from Exetel ADSL1 to ADSL2 earlier this week. Read here my helpdesk ticket (edited where needed): Since moving from a working Exetel ADSL1 (TELO) to Exetel ADSL2 (INCPHONE C) ...

You can restore the connection in a few seconds. My only issue is that I run rsync backups over ssh during the night. In case I do go over 48 GB this will most likely happen when I'm deep asleep. I'd prefer if I could opt-out as I really do not care if I have to pay. I understand this is probably t...

For those of you who do run their own mail servers, may I recommend to have a look at ASSP ( http://assp.sourceforge.net/ ). Not something an ISP the size of Exetel would be able to use. However I run ASSP on servers with multiple domains (hundreds) and users with different language profiles without...

Re: 12 Midnight to 12 Noon 48 gb Reminder
If you reach 47 gb in the 12 midnight to 12 noon period your internet connection will be temporarily blocked by sending you to a 10.x.x.x. page where you will be required to ‘click’ on a statement acknowledging you are aware that downloads over 48 gb in the 12 midnight to 12 noon period are chargea...

Re: No Notification of changes to my ADSL conditions
We are also considering blocking your ADSL connection when you reach 47 gb downloads in the 12 midnight to 12 noon period by 'sending you' to a page that warns you that any further downloads will cost you and that you agree that you have been advised of this happening by you restoring your internet...
