Re: Baffling Network Issue

Did you sort this one out?

Not using a crossover cable and one of those fancy NIC's in PC1 that can accept either type of cable?

Maybe try putting the NIC from PC1 into PC2 (assuming not inbuilt) and confirm it's the actual computer.

Re: UNKNOWEDGABLE VOIP SEEKER REQUIRES ADVICE

I don't have a computer connected to the LAN port of the P2302R - the computers are connected to the LAN ports of the Billion 741GE, and the P2302R WAN port is connected to a LAN port on the 741GE... I can ping 58.96.1.2 and also the P2302R from both the PC and the Amiga. Just wondering why you con...

I-phone 3G Plans

With the imminent release of the i-phone over the next few weeks, will Exetel still be offering the unlimited data 'Blackberry' plan for $40?

Will this be safely usable with the I-phone?

Re: have capped plans changed?

Email telephonesupport@exetel.com.au or lodge a support ticket. They tend to skip past/ignore the Mobile forum a bit. Don't know why.

Re: Issue connecting to EA Games account server before midnight

My reply won't help you much, but I don't know if this is related. My eMule at intermittent periods (p2p shaping periods?) will not connect at all to ed2k servers, or if it does manage too, will connect lowID. Kademlia will also drop back to firewalled. 30 minutes later, no change in options, or net...

Re: Disable mobile voicemail

I recently joined Exetel Mobile. I dialled 1210. It requested me to setup voicemail ... which I did.

Then at the very end, it disables it. So I guess Vodafone makes you setup Voicemail before it's disabled.

Re: Billion 7404 Port Forwarding

uTorrent should be able to automatically open ports on your Billion router with uPnP.

As long as your 3rd party firewall allows the packets through.

Re: Re: re: Re: Bad Move Exetel

My parting comment is that you should forward this up the chain to John Linton. I think this issue will have a negative impact on Exetel's business when it does not have to. As an owner Mr Linton can run the business as he sees fit and can choose to ignore this issue but you do him and Exetel a dis...

I give up. 14 days with no response. I guess I'll chose the $0 option, and hope there is no upgrade fee. Yes! Maybe I missed the information somewhere, and you guys are testing my resolve. I feel though a "Information is here", "check it out bonehead" might have been a little more helpful. Thanks in...

You can only get it if you are with telstra for ADSL, this includes TW. You can't get it if you use LSS. I'm certain I can get it. All I want to know is if changing phone plans will effect my ADSL account which it appears it wont. LSS is ADSL1. Are you saying you are with Bigpond? But seriously, th...

Hmmm not exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping for a second DID on the same account. So any incoming calls on that number will ring on the phone port I have configured with my primary DID. I don't really want to have to configure the second port of my 7404VGPM for a second DID and have two s...
