I can't get voip to work on xlite as well and the phone connected to the V300 router.
Well you cant have multiple registrations on this Voip service.
It will be either 'X-lite' or ATA V300.
Is your registration on either of these successful?

Re: VoIP will not authenticate.

Hi, I have received the email with the VOIP settings for my new ADSL2 Naked connection. I put all the settings in as described and I am getting an auth failure from my modem (Billion 7401 VGP-M). Looking through the logs this is the error message: SIP Invalid Username/Password for phone XXXXXXXXXX ...

... only the emergency services ppl cannot trace it back to your home if they need to trace it in an emergency... If outbound caller id is activated, wouldn't that allow "Triple Oh" to know where you are calling from? Even if you have CID of your DID this has no geographic reference, so 'Triple Oh'...

Re: 000 emergency numbers

I am looking at signing up with Exetel's VOIP, with a view to move to Naked DSL in the near future. But, I am a little concerned about how, using VOIP only, would you call any emergency numbers? Particularly 000? If your power is down, then your router/ATA wont work therefore no Voip. Best to use y...

Re: Possible???? NB9W, 2 VOIP DID's + 1 Phone

Is it possible: NB9W, 2 VOIP DID's + 1 Phone. I dont want to plug in a second physical phone into Phone2 jack on the back of the NB9W. Any way to make the two DID's ring on the one phone. Maybe you could plug both ports into an 'Intelligent line switch' then to your one phone. Suggest further readi...

I didn't need to look no matter what label you give it. It is wasting money on another piece of hardware. You have already wasted money on the NB6, because of not finding out if its wireless was compatible with your 'Lappies' , so I think you better just bite the bullet, do away with the NB6 and ge...

Re: Can calling number be displayed on called phone?

I have just commenced with the VOIP R service. I have an NB9W. In the setup for the NB9W there is a setting called "DispName:". Is the number I put in here supposed to be displayed on the phone I am calling? Refer to the NB9 setup guide on exetel's website http://www.exetel.com.au/voip_pdf/NB9_NB9W...

Re: Voicemail

Hi all, We have set up our voicemail messages and turned on the option in user facilities but incoming calls just ring out instead of being diverted to voicemail. Is there anything obvious I may have missed?. I can't access http://www.exetel.com.au/voip_faq.htm for some reason. We're using an spa31...

Re: VoIP finally sorted out!

Just replying to say that my particular problem was caused by have a name inserted in the "Display Name" field instead of the 0932xxxx number that Exetel supplies. 1) Some people have inordinate difficulty remembering two separate passwords, especially when they very rarely log into their modem. I dont see the difficulty in keeping your original setup E-mail from Exetel with your username and modem password on it, its proof you have a service. 2) Some people ...

I hope that's cleared up any confusion
I didnt have any confusion, I just think a user created modem password makes it difficult for staff to resolve customers problems.

They are different. My connection is working fine. There is no need to look.

I think user created modem passwords just make extra problems for staff when they are trying to resolve a problem.
