Post some results from http://exetel.com.au/speed/ and http://speedtest.net/ from different times of the day. Are your speeds slow during the times when you can't watch youtube? Right now 11.20 am I can watch youtube without problems and my speedtest.net result is 9 megabits. My sync speed is 11999 ...

This seems like a speed issue and not directly related to videos.

10am on a saturday morning and I'm getting 9 megabits. Excellent! I have to wait until the new month starts to be sure but it looks like my speed issues are over.

Holy crap! I'm getting excellent speeds! 9.5 megabits at 12.11am. My speeds at all times have been excellent for over a week.

I find "me too" posts helpful because it shows me that the problem isn't only affecting one user. The thread police on this forum are way to quick to lock threads and delete posts.

The thing that annoyed me about the thread locking and post deleting was that the final post from exetel stated that the problem was fixed, and it wasn't fixed but we couldn't discuss it anymore.

Yep, still having problem here. No web pages load. I'm using another isp at the moment.

Something has changed/improved. I am getting 9 megabit speeds on a saturday morning for the first time since joining exetel in January. Usually it's ten times slower than this. Maybe it's the speed increase in the optus link? Anyway I hope it stays like this, but I'm disappointed that no one from Ex...

I agree.I'd prefer half the off-peak allowance if it's going to help with speeds issues.

I think the problem is that exetel can't guarantee the service. You'll either have problems or you won't and you won't know until you join. Are you prepared to gamble?
