Re: Hourly Updates For Usage Meter Update

The usage meter is pretty useless as it is because it doesn't update often enough. It doesn't even tell me when the last update occurred. Last month I accidently went over by 100 MB because the usage meter doesn't update often enough.

Re: Slow speeds

^^^ Yeah, off peak speeds are pretty bad. Personally, I'd prefer if exetel lowers the off peak quota if the network can't cope with the demand.

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year

why are some of the increases to lower end plans higher in both real and relative terms. It may have something to do with expected uptake rates: The question is not "how much greater, as a percentage, will the plan limit increase by", but "how much extra, as a percentage, will the average downloads...

Your current bandwidth reading is:

which means you can download at 70.79 KB/sec. from our servers.

Re: Still shaped in new month

is this a shaping issue or is it effecting all adsl2 users? It's possible that there are two issues getting confused because there are people on ADSL2+ unshaped having speed issues so some people may think they are still being shaped when in fact they are seeing a wider issue affecting unshaped use...

Re: Slow speeds

^^^ I'm sorry but I find the "me too" posts helpful because that shows us that there is a wide problem affecting many users. If it was only one person posting then we'd think it was only one person having problems. Personally, I think the more me too posts the better so that someone at exetel takes ...

Slow speeds

Come on Exetel, can you please do something about the constant slow speed issues? It's bloody terrible. Speeds are up and down all over the place. I get 12mbs sync speed and look at this: " Your current bandwidth reading is: 670.10kbps which means you can download at 83.76 KB/sec. from our servers. ...

Re: Still shaped in new month

I don't think you guys are being shaped. Speeds are just very slow this morning and I don't have any shaping on my plan. I'm getting the following at 12.20pm: Your current bandwidth reading is: 670.10kbps which means you can download at 83.76 KB/sec. from our servers. Exetel need to get their act to...

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year

I would like the off peak quota to be reduced so as to improve off peak download speeds.

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year

I'm not too happy with my incphone adsl2+ 8/48 plan because peak and off peak speeds are up and down all over the place, and off peak speeds are often pretty bad. I'd like speed improvements, but I don't want my phone number to change and I'd like another couple of peak time gigs included in the pla...

Re: Slow ADSL2+ speeds in the last 2 days

The Mammoth server in Sydney never gets past the ping test for me. I switched to the Canberra server[/img] I thought it was just me! I switched to the canberra server and now speedtest works. The sydney one hasn't worked properly for me for a couple of weeks. I thought it was due to my Safari...
