Re: Back To The Future?
I would have thought that anyone who could configure P2P would have no problem scheduling downloads - it is a basic computer skill. I was referring to the "Families" that wouldn't use P2P , and form the target audience for this new Plan , according to Admin So in another manner of speaking ... woul...

Re: Back To The Future?
Actually that's the whole idea - we don't want people who use P2P to use these plans. Perhaps there are some honest people in the world, parents of families, who actually think the internet is a fantastic 'tool' for all sorts of legal things. That would be the target market for such plans. I'd hate...

Re: New ADSL2 PAYU Plans
Not fair to the old customers, who were forced to the 2AM -12PM OffPeak Slot, that the new customers would have their Offpeak start at 12AM (only 8 hrs though). While in the first instance, it was stated that the move to 2AM was inevitable ? Is there any plan to let customers choose their OffPeak ti...

Re: NAKED activated yet ?
Just updating to say .. that the connection is active & working Nice work Exetel. Do have a few questions though : a) should I contact Telstra to disconnect my phone plan, or will Exetel take care of that? b) To get the free VOIP (as part of Naked plan), do I select Order VOIP service from member's ...

Re: NAKED activated yet ?
The current date is 25/06/2009 for activation of that service, however if you find a fast busy tone on the socket, this might mean its been processed already. Thanx for notifying me, I've been checking the phone every evening @ home .. hoping it is a busy tone :D Weird thing is ... 2 weeks ago I wa...

Re: got new landline - no dialtone yet , apply for NAKED?
Make sure you can call into the line and answer in the premises before applying. What you describe sounds like an issue with the jumpering of your line - this will only get worse if you apply for Naked DSL without correcting that issue first. Interesting, so you reckon that's something to do with t...

got new landline - no dialtone yet , apply for NAKED?
So here's the story, after 3 days of chasing Telstra, I got a new line connected to the property I moved in a week ago. (as in they gave me a new tel no.) Currently there's no dialtone (and I seriously don't have the time to call Telstra and wait again) Now, I have the new number, which passed the A...

Re: New ADSL Plans For July 1st 2009
Good to see, new plans coming soon. Here are my suggestions:- 1) Keep the Free VOIP for the Naked, you may take em out for the rest (SMS,DID etc not really imp.) 2) NAK2A - make it 10GB peak for the same price, or reduce price by $5 (it's entry level plan that you'll attract more customers to) 3) No...

Naked + VOIP queries
I have read most of the posts about Naked and I undesrtand that I'll need an active line to get Naked ADSL2+, if my exchange supports it But here are my queries :- 1) I currently have Netgear DG834G which is ADSL2+ compatible but not VOIP ... so to use VOIP services I need either an ATA or a softpho...
