Set up folders in mail for Windows 10

Post by Stever » Mon Jul 09, 2018 9:37 am

I'm having trouble setting up additional folders for my exemail account in Mail for Windows 10 so that I can store important emails in logical folders or sub folders.
I can do this for my gmail account and could previously do it for mail in Windows 7. The + sign next to all folders does not appear for exemail.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply.
I've tried this a number of times and it still does not allow me to create folders. There is simply no + button next to all folders or anywhere else.
Any other ideas?

Did you try the troubleshooting tips at the bottom of the linked page? (No + button)

The mail server simply sends out a stream of text messages to your computer whenever it is requested. You don't even need a mail client for this, and in the early days of computing we didn't use one. It is the software mail client you use that forms displays, creates folders for and keeps storage, etc. In this case it is the one supplied with Windows 10.

If it really defeats you, you could install and try another mail client.
