Ipad email problem

I am unable to receive emails on my Ipad. I have set up the account exactly with the same settings on my iphone. I get this message
"The mail server "pop3.nsw.exemail.com.au is not responding.

Any help would be appreciated

Go to Advanced. Incoming mail uses password authentication only. SSL must be OFF. Port 110.

Thanks Dazzled, now works, but I am unable to send emails from the ipad, I have tried the exemail smtp and a bigpond one, any suggestions?

Hi Richard,

The data service on your Ipad that you are using to send emails (i.e Internet through WiFi or Mobile broadband sim card) , is it through Exetel or a different service provider ?

If it is thorough Exetel then try the outgoing mail server as "smtp.nsw.exemail.com.au" and Port 25 , if it is not with Exetel then you have to use that particular providers outgoing mail server :)

Plus, as before, for smtp.nsw.exemail.com.au, Advanced, SSL = OFF.

Outgoing mail to servers such as Exetel is unsecured. The server decides whether to accept it or not by checking you are using an Exetel IP address.
