iPhone email issue

Hi
Has something changed with the email server for iPhone's?? as of late this morning my wife and myself cannot receive emails on our iPhones. I cant find anything from Exetel indicating something has changed?? I am aware of maintenance that apparently took place this morning from 2am -4am, but the issue seemed to occur after approx 10am.

I also noticed someone on Whirlpool has also posted a topic having the same issue.

Based on the planned maintenance notified via viewtopic.php?f=296&t=43713 , For those who have the issues with encryption and using iPhone please follow the below steps.

Settings => Accounts & Passwords => Select your exemail account => Advanced => Authentication
Then select "MD5 Challenge-Response" and it will work.
