Cannot add email address to account on Cerberus

I am trying to add my email address to my account on Cerberus. I have received the confirmation email and I have tried both the automated URL and entering the confirmation code manually. In both cases I get a page telling me it was successful, but when I list my email addresses, there are none there. If I try to open a ticket, the dropdown box for email address is empty and I cannot enter anything there.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you please email me the phone number for the account and the email address that you are trying to add.

yes i too have tried to do this in the past to log a help desk ticket for various friends and found the same problem

in case anyone is interested i logged a call re a billing issue with my HSDPA service ...

so i went to the helpdesk site and logged in .... and i yet again tried to add an email account
to the ticket ... i used an account external to exetel and it would not add it .. no matter what i did

so i just used an old exemail.com.au address i have an that worked fine.

it appears that the help desk system only takes @exemail.com.au addresses.

I don't even have an Exetel email address and I had no problems putting my work email address into Cerberus (many years ago) - it is an edu.au address and is the same as my "Current Contact Email" address in my user facilities.

i have tried using both @exemail.com.au and @external based accounts

i get the email asking to confirm and i have tried clicking the line and also the manulk method
neither ends up working

i still cant get an email account listed in cerberus

as a result i cannot log faults of helpdesk requests

i have even tried using several different web browsers ....

You can email residentialsupport@exetel.com.au and include your service number in the contents somewhere instead if the Cerberus helpdesk isn't working for you.

I have the same problem with adding a gmail address. It works with my exemail address though...
