I have just connected to Optus ULL for my local phone service, not knowing the difficulties with getting ADSL on Optus lines. It would cost around $200 to cancel the contract with Optus, which I am reluctant to do.
I heard that Exetel uses Optus ULL for some services. I emailed Exetel specifically regarding getting ADSL2 on my Optus ULL and got a reply from "Gavin P", who said ADSL2 would be available to me and I should apply. But when I did apply for the PTL A plan, I was rejected for not being on the Telstra network.
My number is (pls ignore the bot proofing letters) 0a3 9b0c7d8e4f5g6h8.
Can you please give a definitive answer as to whether ADSL2 is available to my existing Optus ULL and/or advise on the best course of action?

Best to use your other thread (http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=284&t=31189); keeps responses simpler
