Unable to log on to members area

In the last few days I have been unable to log in to the members area.

I normally log on using my 10 digit phone number as my username and the same number plus the first two characters of my street name as the password. Both are memorised by my browser. When this didn't work I tried entering them manually. Still no joy.

I tried the password recovery procedure, but I get the following message: "The Service Number and account contact email you have entered is invalid. Please try again."
The password recovery page suggests using the full ID that the modem uses to log on, so I repeated all procedures using that. Still can't get on.

To try to isolate the problem I tried the other PC on my network. On that I tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer, and went through the procedure for clearing cookies, history etc. as recommended. Nothing changed.

I have no problem logging onto other sites, so at first I suspected a problem with my account, although I haven't received any email advising me of a problem. Besides, There doesn't seem to be any problem with my personal webspace. I can log on there and edit my personal web pages, and am able to FTP files to and from it. I can log onto and access the mysql database, and I can log onto my personal mailbox using webmail.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Have you recently relocated to a new address, or are you in the process of doing so? If so, please PM me both your old and new phone (service) numbers and I'll have a look.

No, neither my address nor phone number have changed for the last 10 years, and are not about to.
