HTTP Cache

Post by samarium » Wed May 12, 2010 6:02 pm

Noticed on the bandwidth summary page "P2P & HTTP Cache Bandwidth.

Is the HTTP cache squid? And if so I guess it is running as a transparent proxy?

I'm wondering it it is worth configuring my squid cache to talk to Exetel's squid cache using ICP, or would it be more efficient to just let the transparency deal with it, unless of course it was worth my squid cache talking to Exetel's NSW/VIC/QLD caches, then it would make more sense.

Comments? Andrew?
