Can't access

Post by Beavis » Thu Oct 28, 2010 2:16 am

http://www.torrentscan.com.
As soon as I try to get the page IE8/FF/Chrome all give me the the 'Oops! xxxx could not find http://www.torrentscan.com' error with no delay, it's almost instantaneous.
I can access it from work, so I know the site is up. I haven't changed anything on my PC, I even restored to a point before I last used it to see if it would work, and it still wouldn't work.
I can get a partial page by using 216.180.241.102 to try it, but it still not loading properly.
Has it been blocked? (although I don't think you'd block it without some sort of communication)

Any help/advise/assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Edit - as at 06:00, I am getting a DNS error from work.

I can get it, and it's there in the Exetel name server. You could check if they are blocking your IP address by using a public proxy. I see you use IE/Windows, so is it blocked as a malware source by your a/v suite?

It's fixed now.
Ran ipconfig /flushdns.
Don't know if that'll stuff anything else up, so we'll see how we go.

Thanks, Dazzled.
I use FF.
