How do I cancel my service?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to cancel my ADSL service?

I've logged-in to my user account and I can't seem to find this option anywhere.

I'm trying to avoid phoning Exetel, and I'm unsure of the turn-around time for answering emails, so I'm hoping that there is another method of cancelling my service that is simple and fast.

I'm not on a contract, and I'm not using the service anymore so I'd like to cancel it ASAP

At present, in order to cancel an ADSL service you have to contact Exetel. Feel free to drop us an email with your service details as that will be the ideal method for you to proceed with this. Make sure to use your registered email address to raise this concern and you may send the email to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au.

I have sent an email to the address you have provided.

Do you know how long it will take before the ADSL service is switched off.

Hi Sharon,

You need to provide 30 days prior notice before cancelling the service according to the terms and condition. Therefore you service will be cancelled exactly after 30 days from the requested date. Update here with the ticket reference number you have received and I will place the cancellation.
