You should login to the user facilities and read your recent invoices carefully. If it is the admin charge it will be identified as such on the invoices. It appears on my last 4 invoices.

While there you may also like to check which mailings you are subscribed to (go to https://www.exetel.com.au/members/infor ... _email.php ) - it looks like New Plans would be the one (I am not subscribed to that - I read about it on the forum).

You should also make sure that your contact email address recorded in your User Facilities is current (and that you read the emails sent to it :D )

You must have activated the "shaped" option or gone more than 1GB, but less than 2GB, over your limit.

ADSL and ADSL2+ "Added value" plans and their precursors (which I assume you are talking about) are charged $3/GB excess if you select the non-shaping option. If you nominated the shaping option, you get a 2GB shaped buffer but then excess traffic is charged at $6/GB.

Also, you should realise that peak and off-peak are metered separately. Therefore if you are on the non-shaped option, and went over your peak allowance by 100MB and your off-peak allowance by 100MB also, you are charged 2 separate lots of $3/GB excess charges.

If neither of these situations explain your usage charges, then you probably want to email billing@exetel.com.au to seek an explanation
