unable to change wireline settings

I am trying to change my wireline/adsl2 settings as I want to cancel voicemail & caller id {on end users phone} as I have an answering machine and I don't use these options but every time I try to change it I get a message of - This is either duplicated request or you have a request currently pending on previous settings that were enabled. Please contact support for further assistance on (02) 8030 1000 or email residentialsupport@exetel.com.au

has anyone else had this problem or is it just me ? I just don't want to pay for a service I don't use thanks in advance :D

Yes it happens. The change is pending. Things don't usually change immediately because of pre-paid billing periods. If the change is urgent, write to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au
