What happened? Failed payment now paid.

Post by itsme5k » Thu Jan 06, 2011 2:30 pm

So I had a big new years, and forgot to leave enough money in my debit card to cover the cost to Exetel.
Got my service blocked yesterday. Unblocked it for the 72 hours.
These things happen, so I transferred the money into my card to pay the bill, only to see it had already been taken out by Exetel - today.
I checked my member facilities and the warnings had gone and my payment status was "OK".
This is all fine, but at no point did I give the details or permission to Exetel for them to re debit my card.
It would have been a different story if the funds were not there yet and I was liable for a $10 fee.

Nothing needs to be done I was just raising this as an issue in case you did not know about it.

Thanks again,

John.
