Just had the dreaded email advising I'm being moved to one of the new plans for my ADSL and Home Phone bundle.
I can't really complain as with Netflix streaming now on our agenda the current plan's data allowance was a little light - so 1TB will give us plenty of capacity to use at anytime of the day
Can I get confirmation that my current Pioneer discount will be applied to the new monthly charge, which in my case is $58 for a 1TB data ADSL and Home Phone bundle
I appreciate the recognition that Exetel provide to those who have supported them from the beginning - hard to believe it's 11 years this year

Hi,

Could you please PM your ADSL telephone number so that we could have a look at your account.

Regards,
Amanda

The pioneer discount applies regardless of what plan you are on.

Unless you already have some other discount on the account OR you no longer have a broadband service with Exetel.
(Mobile and VOIP only here nowadays as I moved and ADSL was full of dropouts/slow speeds)

I've been denied a veteran discount on either/both counts.

Doesn't bother me too much though...

It's a broadband discount.

My loyalty was rewarded with a termination of service ...

Not trying to be a troll, but am really upset by this. :(

James - you may want to review this thread - viewtopic.php?f=21&t=42123 - there are several long term customers who seem to have received termination notices today...
