Early Cancellation Charge

Why would I be charged an early cancellation fee of $100.

Renew Contract Date: 2012-03-01
Renew Contract Period: 12 Months
Renew Contract End Date: 2013-03-01

Cancellation request for the 2013-02-28.

= 365 days 12 months.

I have paid my February 2013 account/bill, Monthly Charge On Plan OT-500 For billing period (01/02/2013 - 28/02/2013).

TO DAVID

We have received your cancel service request.

Your current service number is : blank

You request to cancel your service on 2013-02-28

Cancel it a day later and you won't be charged.

If it is cacnelled within contract, Exetel is charged a cancellation fee which we pass on.

Hi James,

I have already put in the request for the 28/02/2013 can you change this to the 1st/03/2013.

I mistakenly thought my contract would end 28/02/2013 at 23.59 pm, which would be 12 months or 365 days.
