Manually paying by Credit Card

Seems like it is a bad idea to manually pay a bill using a credit card when there is a direct debit authority in place.

Paid an invoice manually through the user portal using VISA but Exetel still went ahead and debited my account anyway. Cost me $20 in bounce fees from the CBA.

Seems like there is no automated connection between the VISA system and the periodical payments system.

Can this be corrected so it does not cause billing problems for others?

If you have not already advised our Billing team of this please PM your service number so that we could advise our Development team of this.

I have notified billing on Monday morning but they have not replied as of now, 3 days later.
