Drupal Configuration

Post by Bonjour » Tue Jul 14, 2009 11:23 am

Hey guys,

Trying to set up Drupal to have a play around with, all my permissions (settings.php, sites/default) seem to be ok but I keep getting a "500 Internal Server Error".

I think it is the db_url in the settings.php file: db_url = mysql://username:password@localhost/dbname

I am using @localhost, and the rest is as shown, should it be something else?

Thanks in advance,
Matt.

Have you replaced username with the database username from members facilities, and the dbname is set to the database name?
What permissions have you set on index.php?

Yeah I replaced the:

*username
*password
*dbname

with my own data. The permissions on the install.php, index.php are both 777.

Drop the permissions to 750 and see if that helps.

That'll break it 100% of the time. Directories should, ideally, be 701 and files 604.

What's your website address, btw?

Comment out the FollowSymLinks option from .htaccess.
