I'd like the facility to pay via Amex, and I think quite a few others would too if the fees were no higher than for other options. Quite a few of my customers use Amex wherever they can due to the Amex airpoints rewards being significantly higher than other cards, they derive a real benefit from being able to channel a large volume of transations through Amex.

I would use any credit card as long as no fees were charged.

I would move to using American Express even if it did involve a small surcharge... even if it was more than what I am currently paying for the Visa.

Yes, I'd like to use AMEX but would only change from VISA if the fee charged was the same or less than I pay now.

ForumAdmin wrote:Exetel ceased offering payment via American Express in early 2005. Since then we have reviewed that decision each year. There is a possibility that we could again offer this facility if enough people are interested, and providing we can get a realistic service charge.

To assist us in making this decision would you please indicate whether you would prefer to use American Express rather than your current payment option.
Yes please. This will make life much easier for people like me who get ADSL cost reimbursed. Almost all large companies use AMEX as their corporate card.

..as has been pointed out, I get more frequent flyer points on the amex.

Though I'd only use it if there were no additional charges.

Cheers,

Sean.

only have visa and mastercard as amex is not taken at all outlets, and if they do there is normally a surcharge

Amex payments

Post by doylep » Tue Nov 20, 2007 4:57 pm

I would prefer to use Amex, subject to it being at no extra cost compared to other credit cards.
I would prefer that no additional charges were levied on card payments at all.

I'm sure Exetel would prefer that it was not levied additional charges to offer this payment method too:)

how about PAYPAL...
It is a very convenient method of payment for people who are unable to access a credit card...

Paypal is not suitable for automated monthly transactions.

Plus the merchant fees are higher than amex! https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/websc ... ew-outside
