Hi...
I currently have ADSL1+Phone from AAPT and I ordered ADSL2+Phone (Optus) service from Exetel. Do I need to tell AAPT to cancel my service? and will there be a long disruption to my internet service?
Thank you.

No, all you need to do is apply. If your application is successful you will be provided with an estimated cutover date. On this day your connection will be switched to Exetel.netsurfer wrote:Hi...

Hi...
Thank you for your prompt reply.
I have already applied.
However, there is another issue. In my application, I specified AAPT as my old ISP and gave my account number with them. Today, I discovered that my account number with AAPT has changed as part of their upgrading of their system.
Do you need the new number or is the old account number fine? and how to pass it to you?
Thank you.

While it should be OK, you should let the Provisioning department know that it has changed by emailing provisioning@exetel.com.au
That way everything can move a bit more swiftly.
