Unless any of the admins have a problem, I'd rather keep all WoW ping related discussions in this topic - save us spamming the forums with the same posts over and over again. If it bothers you that much, I can change the title if you wish.
All nastiness aside, Aussie WoW players should expect a bit of lag around 8-10pm each night due to Honor roll. This lag fluctuates between unnoticable to pings in the thousands to total disconnection. I may get in trouble for this, but pings also
sometimes increase between 11pm to 3pm wether this is due to Fair-Play or not I can't say. At this point in time, I'd advise you all to delete the registry keys from the hotfix as it now the disadvantages outweigh the advantages when increasing the TCP ACK frequency.
Personally, since the patch (and removing the hotfix) my ping has risen from an average of about 250ms up to 320ms. so until Blizzard put a server in Australia, I don't think there is much else we can do.
