No, they can't. ADSL1 and ADSL2+ are completely different services, with different cost structures and providers.

When can you expect the credit to show on your account?

It is great to see Exetel giving more incentive to its current customer base to increase the size of the business, we all want Exetel to grow and meet all the targets you are setting :).

On the topic of referring though, would it be possible to make it so that you can use a code or a number other than your phone number as the referral number? There are some people I would like to refer but I don't want them to know my number. I don't know if I am unique.

I'm not sure that's going to be possible.

However, I'll ask.

Is this bonus doubling deal going to continue on into May as ForumAdmin's initial post says till April 30?

I've recently switched to a naked adsl2 plan so what do I tell my friends to put down as the Exetel Recommender Service Number? My old number or my new voip number?

I don't know - I'll ask a sysadmin to reply to you.

Your member's facilities login number. I think you still use your old number as your login number. So, you use your old number for recommender number.

I wonder what would happen if the old number was re-allocated to someone else, and that person signed up to exetel for an ADSL service ?

Just a random thought...

Also, I'll be referring someone next week, since their phone line won't get installed until monday, will the referral bonus of $60 continue to next month, or should I try and somehow place the order beforehand (though I don't know the phone number yet, so that is difficult)...

Thanks,
Adam

Hi JL, is there any update on this suggestion? I have been talking to a few other people and they would feel more comfortable too if it wasn't their personal home phone number they are giving out to people. There are surely other unique numbers in the database per connection, or you could allow users to create custom IDs to use on the application form.
