switching from other ISP ADSL to Exetel ADSL2+

Post by sevusal » Tue Apr 15, 2008 7:27 am

hi,

i am currently with aaNET and want to switch to Exetel naked ADSL2+ service.
below are my questions:
- what will be my line activation fees. the web-site says, $30 for churn from another ISP. does this apply to me as i want to churn from ADSL to ADSL2+?
- what is the downtime i am looking at?
- what will be my initial contract period?

i apologies in advance if the answers are already present in this forum or on your web-site.

Thank you,
Tosh

-If want to move to one of the ADSL2+ including phone line rental plans then there is no churn fee. The $30.00 churn fee is only for ADSL1 users churning to an Exetel ADSL1 plan.

The ADSL2+ INCPHONE plans are here:

http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_adsl2.php

- There is no real downtime, you just need to apply. If your application passes all technical checks you are provided with an estimated date of cutover. On the cutover date, your aaNet connection will stop working, and your Exetel ADSL2+ service will start. At this stage you just need to update your modem login details, then your online.

- 12 Months contract is standard for ADSL2+

$110.00 if you are churning to Naked ADSL.

$0.00 if you are churning to ADSL2 including a telephone line service.
