I am another Exetel customer which has had my plan changed without notice to the 1gb peak/1gb non-peak plan.
For the first two weeks of October I have been using my service as normal and using the desktop usage meter.
My non-peak usage is at 4gb - is Exetel going to bill me $9 extra for non-peak when the plan was down graded by them without advice?
I am going to move the plan to the 12gb / 48gb now, which I would of chosen if asked.
Will this stop any extra charges for this month (Oct) due to the plan change?

Re: INCPHONEY Switch Non-Peak charge
I raised a billing fault to ensure I was not going to be billed for the 'non-peak' usage due to the plan change.
Exetel have contacted me and are going to move me to the 'Z' plan mid-month to ensure the new limits take effect now and there will be no excess charge.
I am happy with this arrangement.
