New VoIP Service Plans

Please be advised there is a new VoIP service plan coming into effect for October, named Post VoIP 15.

We will be decommissioning all old VoIP plans A, B, C, D, R and S and migrating these customers to the new Post VoIP 15.
An email will be sent out notifying customers soon.

The other 2 plans are existing.
Post VoIP 0 is just a plan name change with the same call rates.
The HSPA VoIP plan is only for those with an Exetel HSPA service.

The benefit is high usage VoIP customers will be able to change on to the Post VoIP 15 if they so wish, which has better call rates.

Is the 6c flagfall on the New Post VoIP 15 only for timed calls to mobiles or is it on landline calls as well?

Only on calls to mobiles.

With the 'old' plans (I am on NAK2B) I get 100 free landline calls included with the plan.

If I upgrade to one of the new Naked plans, say NF/22NoTel, does that still include the free landline calls?
Or have they been dropped in favour of the bigger peak download limits?

The 100 Free VoIP calls to landlines are dependant on the DSL service you have.
If you remain on the old plan NAK2B, the 100 free calls will remain.
If you convert to a new DSL plan, you will lose the 100 Free VoIP calls to landlines.

please don't get me wrong exetel is still better than other isp I am just not completely happy.

I would prefer to pay $5 less a month for twice as much peak downloads then pay the $10 for the 100 phone calls I used to get free.
For my usage that is a much better deal!

The 100 Free VoIP calls to landlines is extremely generous. This was never going to last forever.
You still have them if you remain on the old DSL plan, so we are not even taking that away from you.

You just need to weigh up what is more important to you if you are considering changing plans.

Nothing other than what you've mentioned.

The HSPA VoIP plan, as its name suggests, is only for customers on an Exetel HSPA plan.
A customer cannot convert on to this plan, but an HSPA customer can convert off it.

when I call up my "modify VOIP Service" in Member services....my voip number plan "VOIP R" etc appears but also below this is a box that say's " You don't have VOIP Calling service with Exetel"....and if I try to cancel it I get a page that says "you do not have a voip pack service"..So how do I comply with the request to change my plan???

To all DIDless customers,

Exetel is trying to phase out the DIDless numbers. One reason is that there is legal non-compliance on these numbers.
Exetel keeps getting reminders from its suppliers but till now we have held them off using back-end mods and natural attrition (customer cancellations).

DID's are 10 digit fully compliant telephone numbers and you can order these for no charge.

Please ask yourselves, is there any particular reason you need to retain your DIDless service?
If not, we would like you to order a DID and then re-onfigure your ATA/modem for this new number.
If you have a VoIP pack associated with your DIDless service, let us know that and we will re-associate it with your new DID.

If you are unable to cancel your DIDless service, then email your DIDless number to voice@exetel.com.au and we will cancel it for you.

If you REALLY need your DIDless service then we will keep it for now but be advised you will have to
convert to a DID at some stage, sooner rather than later. So now may be a good time.
