Supplier - Optus

Event Start Time: 28/05/2018

Products Impacted : ADSL

Additional Information: Some customers in the above mentioned area may experience complete disruption (No authentication) to the internet service

Root cause : Still being investigated.

It appears most services have come online during the evening hours yesterday (29/05).

We are following up with the Wholesale Supplier on the root cause of the outage.

Kindly try power cycling your modem/ router if issues are still experienced. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Most of the services which were effected with the outage, are currently up and running. However we are currently awaiting a confirmation from the wholesale supplier.

We will provide further updates as soon as they become available. Exetel do apologize for any inconvenience caused and your patience is much appreciated in this situation.

Our supplier advises that the outage has been successfully restored and all the services are online and working.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Kindly power cycle your modem/ router and test the service.
