Unplanned Corporate Fibre Network Outage - Telstra - VIC

Event Start Time: 25/07/2018 2.05pm AEST

Products Impacted : Fibre

Additional Information: Some customers in the above mentioned area may experience a complete disruption on the connection.

Root cause : Still being investigated.

Estimated Resolution : Our wholesale supplier is unable to provide us with an estimated time of resolution.

Update

All services have been switched to backup link while the primary link issue is being investigated with Telstra.

Services should be restored. If your service is not restored please call Exetel on 02 8030 1050.

Our supplier technicians are still working on an identified Fibre Fault.

No ETR is available at this stage.

Services have been moved to the back up links as posted.

Update

Primary link issue is still ongoing & fibre technicians are still working on site.

No ETR (Estimated time of resolution) yet. Most of the services have been restored & waiting for the work completion.

Outage has been restored.

Root cause has been identified as fiber break.
