NBN12 Basic Plan

Post by dkwg » Sun Jun 09, 2019 9:02 pm

It seems the NBN12 service suddenly disappeared from the Exetel product offers. Can I still order the NBN12 service? The alternative Wireless Broadband offered does not come with VoIP dial in line and is not as reliable as HFC connected NBN services.

HI
We no longer offer the 12/1mbps plan options. If you could PM your address details we can advise you on available plan options.

Kind Regards

That is disappointing news. I have been with Exetel for 14 years and is looking forwards to migrate to the NBN12 plan for $39.99/m when NBN roll out to my area. I have recommended many of my friends and relatives to join this plan and they are all very happy with its low price and the speed is faster than ADSL2+. Other ISP such as TPG is still offering the NBN12 basic plans.

You'll find that all providers will get rid of this option, as NBN Co makes this unprofitable for providers to offer.

This is not something Exetel wants to do, but we must make a commercially sensible profit.
