+1
Not only unmusical, but played at distortion levels.

I think there must be something wrong, 30 minutes on the phone is something that wouldn't normally happen

it doesn't sound right and I'm sure there must be a call log there that can see if there was a problem or not

I think it's related to Vogon poetry

 (Not saying I agree about the music because I haven't called Exetel in yonks, but I recently re-watched "The Hitchhikers Guide ..." and had the pleasure all over again of listening to Vogon poetry  )

I had problems last week with the 1300 number, ended up calling the Voice Assist number and was passed through to ADSL support to resolve an issue. There was an unusually long delay then and I would have to agree the music was pathetic, it was the least of my problems though.

I've asked the head of support to get the details of your 30 minute on hold time as I can see nothing in the logs that indicate an on hold call of this length.

He will reply to you shortly.

Don't worry, I doubt it was 30 minutes, just seemed that way. The wait was no worse then I expect, just the music.

OK.

We take every statement on these forums at face value and yours was particularly concerning.
