PAYG option for ADSL / ADSL2?

Hi,

I've noticed with some interest, John Linton's proposed offering in Tasmania with a $0 retainer, $1/GB broadband offering for the NBN rollout. Is that something to be considered here for ADSL / ADSL2? I do realise that there will probably be other factors such as fees to Telstra and so on, but I'm one fully in support of paying for what you use.

For consideration, perhaps:

• I'm not expecting a $0 retainer, but something low? $10 / month?
• If Exetel is looking to divert traffic to a certain off-peak time, offer peak usage at $1/GB, off-peak at $.40?

P.S. I'm currently on a Naked plan + VOIP, and with my widely-varied usage pattern, would probably end up paying anything from $20 to $100, depending on my needs-for-the-month with the mooted figures above.

It's being considered for re-introduction next week.

It won't be possible to get anywhere near a $10.00 port monthly fee.
